This happened twice around 3 in the morning. The second time is when I actually started recording on my phone but the screeching got so intense and loud that me (and my dog) hauled ass to get back inside the house which is what you hear at the end of the clip.

Someone later suggested it was a train, or grinding metal?

What they always seem to miss is that plenty of people have “Irish pride” or “Czech pride.” It’s perfectly fine to have pride in your ancestors or your compatriots and your shared struggles. “White pride” is pride in an ethnic group that was created out of whole cloth to deny rights and privileges to people based on their race. There was no concept of whiteness before colonialism, and there’s no single definition of who is white and who isn’t. The implication is that whiteness signifies genetic purity. White pride is necessarily pride in a false sense of genetic purity, which is why only racists defend white pride.

Most people are missing the mark when it comes to Insert traditionally discriminated minority here Pride. I know there's exceptions to every claim and I'm not here to argue what-about-ism. Gay/Black/etc pride is important because these demographics have been heavily discriminated against. White pride will always leave a sour taste in people's mouth because white people have never had to worry about being lynched or sent to "gay camp" where they zap you with electricity if you get the hots for the opposite sex.

These minority groups have. And the pride is that despite the violence, prejudice, and unfound hate. They wouldn't change who they are. They wouldn't give up being black/gay/etc. because it's a part of who they are. THAT'S why black/gay/etc. pride is important. I'm a straight white dude and never have had to worry about how I'll be treated at a traffic stop or worry about being kicked out of house and family because I have sex with women.

It's similar to All Lives Matter vs. Black Lives Matter. Yes, all lives matter, but it isn't white people bearing the brunt of police brutality. Black people are. You're allowed to take pride in your heritage and celebrate what makes you, you. Individualism and all that. White Pride doesn't mean you've had to stand up for a part of your identity in the face of very real danger or violence, it just means you want a participation trophy because you're salty about all "them minorities" getting time on the news or some shit.

So be proud of who you are. Stand up for yourself. But for God's sake, stand up for your fellow humans as well and realize that not everyone has had a life experience just like yours.

Okay I get that TECHNICALLY it doesn’t make sense for “white pride” to be racist, but I’ve never heard someone talk about white pride that wasn’t racist. In the modern connotation, it’s synonomous with white supremacy. Especially considering white people divide themselves into ethnicities. But actually, most Asian people do too. Not a lot of Chinese people feel Asian pride when they play Nintendo games. The reason why black people have to have black pride is that any differentials between African ethnic groups were lost to African-Americans when they were kidnapped and enslaved. And it’s nice to be able to have pride in your color when your color historically has been looked upon as inferior.

What unites them as a group in forums like this is their shared belief that there is an organized, concerted effort by "leftists" to destroy society through supposed enforcement of social norms that this group feels threatened by.

The actual ironic thing is that your post has proven my point in full: you're on a conspiracy forum arguing about leftist-inspired victim scores, race/gender/mental illness points, etc.; where are these supposed leftist posts on conspiracy forums that - according to you - are doing what the alt-righters are doing?

I remember the days when people would start posts in conspiracy forums with phrases like tin-foil hat on as a kind of friendly exercise in self-awareness/humility to show that they were aware their ideas/beliefs were outside the norm. I have yet to see a single "culture-war" post from red-pillers embrace that kind of humility that used to be meta here. People in those times would have seen a post like "White Pride is Racist" as something that could only be an awful joke.

And historically, different races have always coexisted peacefully everywhere in the world, so why is there all of a sudden this tension? Likewise, weather.
