An oxymoron ("oxim-oron", not "oxy-moron") is a phrase in which the meaning of one part is in diametric opposition to the meaning of another part.

- Christian Science
- Clean coal
- Virgin birth (unless you happen to be a snail, snake or a Komodo Dragon in which case well done for being able to read this)
